Hean Lee Radio Service was founded in 1957 by Mr Lee Hian Cheong. It all began when he sailed to Singapore in 1941 at the age of 10 years old for 9 days and 8 nights from his home town, Xiamen, China. Without any kin and many uncertainties on a foreign land, he had worked as an apprentice in many sectors for 16 years. He worked hard and saved money to fulfill his dream of opening a shop to sell electrical and electronic components.
