1. Plug the RCD adaptor into a fixed socket outlet and switch ON the socket.
2. Press RESET button to activate the RCD. The indicator will change from black to red.
3. Press TEST button to check that the indicator has changed to black. If the test fails, remove the RCD and contact a qualified technician.
4. Press RESET button again to activate. The indicator will change from black to red.
5. Plug the appliance or tool into the RCD adaptor and operate as normal.
