• Before using this kettle for the first time, clear water should be boiled twice.

• Fill the kettle with water. Do not overfill. Use the water level indicator.

• Electrical connection:
   - Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the kettle same as that of the kettle. Details are to be found on the label on the base.
   - Only connect the kettle's switch to a properly installed 220-240V 50Hz safety socket.

• Switch the kettle's switch to position "I". The control lamp of the kettle lights up indicating that the water is being boiled.

• After boiling, the kettle will switch off automatically.
   - Disconnect the kettle from the mains electricity supply
   - Do not open the lid when pouring.
